Classic, Creative Shooting
The philosophy of the LUMIX FZ1000 II hybrid bridge camera is to capture stunningly clear images with amazing detail and resolution. It boasts a superior 16x optical zoom LEICA lens with the minimum aperture extended to F11, high-performance sensor, creative 4K features and responsive shooting.
25mm Wide-Angle LEICA Lens
The LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens system with 16x optical zoom (the 35mm equivalent of 25-400mm) has been created especially for the FZ1000 II. The minimum aperture is extended to F11, achieving F2.8-F11 at the wide end and F4.0-F11 at the tele end. 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S.+ (Optical Image Stabiliser) minimises blur, ensuring images are sharp and shake-free.
Large 1-Inch 20.1MP Sensor
The FZ1000 II captures crisp and clear images with minimal noise even when shooting photos at ISO12800, thanks to the newly incorporated 1-inch High Sensitivity MOS Sensor. Because of its large size, the sensor processes a high amount of light and helps produce impressive defocus shots.
Expanded 4K Feature Suite
This remarkable bridge camera records smooth 4K Video in 3840 x 2160 at 25p and offers 4K Photo with 4K Pre-burst mode to capture 30 frames per second before and after the shutter is released. Our FZ Series 4K suite also has been expanded on the FZ1000 II to include a Sequence Composition function and Auto Marking for easier image selection.
OLED LVF and Manual Control
For precise focusing, a new OLED LVF (Live View Finder) offers 2,360k-dot high resolution with approx. 0.74x (35mm camera equiv.) magnification and 100% field of view. The 3.0-inch 1,240k-dot free-angle rear monitor also has touch control.
Manual control of parameters such as aperture and shutter speed is easy thanks to the two dials on the front and on the rear. There are also three function buttons to allow for easy menu access.
Post Focus and Focus Stacking
The LUMIX FZ1000 II’s Post Focus mode allows you to choose the focal point of an image after it’s been taken. You can use the touchscreen to select the exact area you want to focus on, which is perfect for macro shots with a shallow depth of field.
Alternatively, keep everything in focus with the Focus Stacking feature, which combines multiple focal points to achieve complete foreground to background focus.
